12/06 finishing up video (12:30-3:30) (4:30-8:30) (11:00-12:00)

Today I spent the day and evening finishing up my video. Something still seems not quite right with my the visual component of my video. I think this is because I don’t like the quality of the clips taken. This probably is not a huge issue, as the audio is what is carrying the video, but I am still bothered by it and unsure what to do about it. When I add effects to it, it appears intentional, but then is competing with the audio. hmpt…

hahahaha, I just “lost” and “found” my video, must be time for a break. Thanks to an insightful classmate, I was able to not freak out on the outside. She reminded me that Calvin and Nell suggested using the final cut search or google search for answers to our problems. It was on google search that I was able to find a blog that had others who had encountered the problem of a “disappearing timeline”. Sometimes this happens when you close the project or the canvas using the red button at the top of the screen. Never fear, find your sequence in the browser and double click. This would have saved me about an hour had I gone straight to google and surrendered my ego.
