12/04 Second thoughts

After editing and adding the new audio, I am having second thoughts. I have tried to contact my friend about the last recording. Is this unethical to use this as an excerpt? hmmm. It certainly captures the ups and downs of the entire 7 years. Her saying “I want to be independent”, when she clearly is not, really captures the contradictions of her experience. I am going to use this clip because I think that it has the power to resonate the incapacitating position that she is in. I hope that it does not potentially hurt more than help.
