10/28 Improvising

I believe that I mentioned (in an earlier blog entry) that my large compass was not very efficient. As a result I have  been on an ever continuing hunt for objects that could be used to make the perfect sized circle. I have five layers and their diameters are 30″, 28″, 18″,10″ and 8″. I found this pot on a shelf in the basement of Dana, after snooping around a bit. My 28″ wheel was actually just a little over 27″. I used the base of the cover of a giant popcorn maker, desperate times call super improvisation.

Also, this evening I re-glued my base wheel…fingers crossed that it dries evenly.
